Inflatable pipeline plug
Why use inflatable pipeline plug ?
The inflatable pipeline plug is designed for interventions and leak tests in pipelines. Its special feature is that it can be used in the presence of hydrocarbons: gasoline, fuel and certain chemicals. Whether the pipe is made of PVC, cement or cast iron, the inflatable pipe stopper is functional. It also prevents accidental pollution by temporarily plugging these pipes. The Gum H pipe stopper is particularly flexible and light.
Range of intervention
Gum H inflatable pipe plug is very expandable. So it covers the range of pipes from 50 to 1500mm with only 5 plugs.

Technical characteristics of pipeline plug
We manufacture the GUM H pipeline plug in nitrile rubber (NBR) coated fabric.
We vulcanize them in pressure moulds to obtain a homogeneous and resistant product:
- to hydrocarbons
- to certain chemicals.
The inflatable pipeline plugs have a female ¼ BSP inflation tubing. An inflation hose, connected to either a hand pump or compressor, connects to it.
The through walls (optional) are equipped with a 1/2 Guillemin coupling. They are used to perform leak tests or to divert a flow.
We also provide water or air test accessories that fit on the by pass of our pipe stopper.
